Healthy Eating and Active Play Conferences

NSW Health in partnership with Early Childhood Australia (ECA) is delivering 15 FREE Munch & Move Healthy Eating and Active Play Conferences in rural, regional and metro NSW in 2019 and 2020.

The Conferences offer a high level professional development opportunity for early childhood education and care service leaders participating in the Munch & Move program. This includes directors, nominated supervisors, educational leaders and family day care coordinators.

The Conference program extends beyond the Munch & Move program training to focus on areas of leadership including service management, having challenging conversations with families and programming age-appropriate active play experiences.

The Conferences are aligned with the National Quality Framework and can help your service meet the requirements of the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Participating in the Conferences will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 1.5.2, 6.2.2, 7.3.2 and 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

To register and view more information about the Conferences, please the Early Childhood Australia website.
