Munch & Move Program Training

The Munch & Move program offers free professional development to educators and service leaders working in early childhood services in NSW.

Would your long day care, preschool, occasional care service or family day care service like support meeting the National Quality Standard’s Standard 2.1 Each child’s health and physical activity is supported and promoted?
Would you like to know more about the Australian Dietary Guidelines and the Physical Activity Recommendations for children?
Do you want to learn more about how to embed healthy eating and physical activity practices into your early childhood education and care service?

If you answered ‘yes’, then the Munch & Move program is what your service needs!

Program Training Information

The Munch & Move eLearning program training is a self-paced online training package that provides educators with the knowledge, skills and resources to implement the Munch & Move program in their service.

Healthy Menu Planning Training

Munch & Move Healthy Menu Planning Training is based on the Caring for Children resource. It is available in workshop or webinar format. More information including training topics and eligibility is on the page below.

Healthy Eating and Active Play Conferences

The conferences extend beyond the Munch & Move program training (one day workshop/webinar series) to offer high level professional development for service leaders.

Staff Development Kit

The Kit assists educators who have attended Munch & Move training to share their learning with other staff at their service.
